The good ones. 1. Heroes 3. Will likely be first for most. Heroes 3 is the best designed HoMM game. Nice graphics, which hold up to this day. Most content (factions, creatures, spells, heroes), for the most part fine mechanics. Only a couple of secondary skills are quite useless. The variety is unmatched. Heroes of Might and Magic - I've never played Heroes 1 before but I found it enjoyable and nice to see what the first game in the series was like. There are not many features compared to later versions but it's still fun nevertheless. The map editor is included and fun to use, and the editor is improved with every later Heroes version.
